How can we work together to be successful with the EpicEd curriculum?

Successful students will

• Interact with the EpicEd curriculum on their device
• Utilize the lesson checklists and resources to understand the material and show what they know
• Check in with their teacher regularly
• Ask questions when they don't understand a concept or how to use/navigate the technology

Families/caregivers can aid students by

• Utilizing the lesson guides located on the landing pages of their child's ELA EpicEd course
• Navigating the Buzz platform to better understand the curriculum and what assignments their child(ren) are doing each week
• Asking their child(ren) what they are learning each week, what they are proud of, and what they are struggling with
• Checking in with their child(ren)'s teacher regularly

• Providing for students' individualized educational needs by adding resources, remediation, and enrichment into the EpicEd curriculum as needed
• Re-teaching material as needed
• Providing meaningful feedback on student work towards learning goals
• Checking in with their students and their caregivers regularly
