Visual/graphic learners learn by seeing just like read/write learners, but instead of seeing the written word, they prefer pictures and graphs.

Tactile/Kinesthetic Learning Style
Auditory/verbal learners learn best by using active listening skills. They don't just hear the informaiton; they try to process and make sense of what they are hearing.

According to Howard Gardner's theory, there are 8 multiple intelligences. Each person has all 8 intelligences but is stronger in some intelligences over others.

8 Personality Types
There are 8 personality types, but every person has a combination of 4. After assessing your personliaty, you might be a INSP or a ESFJ. The next several slides will explore the difference of each personality type.

An introverted person is more quiet and is energized by being alone.
An extraverted person is outgoing and is energized by being around other people.

This personality is interested in the big picture. This person approaches projects more randomly.
Sensor personalities are very interested in the details. They like sequential order.

Left Brain Processing concentrates more on tasks requiring verbal competence -Speaking -Reading -Thinking -Reasoning -Information processed sequentially meaning in order
Right Brain Processing concentrates more on the processing of information in nonverbal domains -Spatial relationships -Music -Emotional Expression -Information processed globally as a whole

Visual/Graphic learners can use the following strategies to help them study:-draw diagrams -build models -watch videos -create concept maps
Study strateiges for Read/Write learners may involve....-writing flash cards -writing chapter summaries -writing practice test -reading notes re-reading notes or chapters
