Definition

A moral is, a set of rules of conduit considered good, but not mandatory contrary to the law which is an imperative rule.

YES

If the law is not respected one is exposed to a sanction such as a fine or a prison sentence etc...

Moral being a knowledge of good and evil it would push us to follow the laws. Unlike morality, laws are mandatory, objective and equitable. Morality is subjective. in some cases the laws are not adapted to all situations morality can have its place in decision-making. In case of imminent danger, ligitime defense or delicate situation

For example if you are about to give birth it would be impossible for your driver not to respect the speed limits
