The company was founded by Peter D Kaufman and began operations in 1956 producing electrical connector backshells and accessories, and today Glenair manufactures high-reliability connectors and cables for mission-critical applications across land, sea, air, and space.

The headquarter is situated in Glandale, California (United States). Additionally it has a significant presence in Europe with branches in Mansfield (England), Bologna (Italy) and Salem (Germany).

my job

My job often changed because the company works on requests made by the customers, my tasks were:

• Soldering
• Wiring
• Troubleshooting
• Electronic board assembly

My internship experiences conclusions:

Positive aspects

During my internship I gained practical skills and knowledge such as troubleshooting and repairing electronic boards which require a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

Negative aspects

It was a great experience and opportunity for me because I was able to learn a lot, but unfortunately the absence of my tutor and unclear tasks led to some inefficiencies.
