I. Biography

1. Hildegard von Bingen was born in 1098 in Germany.

2. Her parents confined her in the monastery of San Disibodo when she was 8 years old.

3. In 1136, she was voted the chief nun between her sisters and fellows.

5. She died in 1179, at the age of 81 years, being one of the most important woman of the Middle Ages.
