Growing population
In the classical period about 2,000 years ago was a population of about 20 million people but it reached 200,000 million people.
The world's population first started by the creation of different civilizations all around the world.People started to develop different things to start to communicate with different countries.
Some people started to move to the Atlantic and countries like China, India, etc.
How has world population growth change over time?
The increase in the amount of population in the world happened just recently, in the past, the population's growth was really slow, being of under 1 billion people in 1800.
There's an estimation that by 2080, population will duplicate the 8 billion people or will overpass this amount with 10.4 billion people all around the world.
In the past, it took more than 140 years for population to increase by one billion.
Population growth
Growing population has made different impacts all around the world.
Growing population is the increase of amount of people who live on Earth.
At the beggining, the population growth helped people to develop econiomically and politically, but nowadays, it has caused severe consequences like migration, hunger, over populated countries, etc.
Population/United Nations
In november 15th 2022, world population reached the 8 billion people all around the world, lasting just 12 years to increase from 7 to 8 billion people.
China and India are the world most populated countries with 1.4 billion people each one. This is caused by the no regulation of chinese and indian authorities for the amount of people living in their countries.
Fertility rates, increasing longevity and international migration are the facts that influence the increase of population.
Our world in data
Africa is the world's most populated continent, this is caused by the rapid population increase in just a few years. It is expected that by 2050 more than half of global population will grow in Africa.
A sever problem is that small countries just like Taiwan or Bangladesh are increasing their population really fast, but fortunately, large countries, just like Russia or Canada have small population because of their regulations.
