Offsore wind turnbines are easy to maintain and extremeley efficient they bare arguably the future of achieving sustainble energy
OFFSHORE WINDTURBINES
Wind power or wind energy is a form of renewable energy that harnesses the power of the wind to generate electricity. It involves using wind turbines to convert the turning motion of blades, pushed by moving air (kinetic energy) into electrical energy (electricity).
It's importaint to untilse our environment and harness its power with minimal damage in order to star getting clean efficient energy
HYDROELECTRIC
Hydropower, or hydroelectric power, is a renewable source of energy that generates power by using a dam or diversion structure to alter the natural flow of a river or other body of water.
TRANSPORT AND INDUSRTY
Our city is set to include an integrated transport system with concespts akin to things such as: the 15 min zone,high spped rails,complex docking systems,underground transport,bikes and tarrifs fo non electric cars.We also found it nessisary for our city to have a pominent sciece park moving into quaternary industry, however we plan to have jobs in every sector accounting for both more rural and urban job settings with varying skill to help limit or abolish unemployment.

Our Ideas
we decided to take alot of inspiration from tesside becoming carbon neutral. It being so close to us really shows how possible somting like this could be.
NET ZERO TESSIDE
Net Zero Teesside is a collection of industrial, power and hydrogen businesses which aim to decarbonize their operations through the deployment of carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS).
Fusion has the potential to be one of the greatest breakthroughs in our lifetime. It is becoming more and more sucessful and could produce more energy than we could ever need meeting global demands without depelting earth natural resources. It would change energy across the globe.
FUSION
Fusion occurs when two nuclei combine to form a new nucleus. This process occurs in our Sun and other stars. Creating conditions for fusion on Earth involves generating and sustaining a plasma. Plasmas are gases that are so hot that electrons are freed from atomic nuclei.
Solar despite at its best being only around 50% efficientcy at its best and normally sitting at around 30% is still a good fairly cheap and readily available source of enegy.
SOLAR
Solar power works by converting energy from the sun into power. There are two forms of energy generated from the sun for our use – electricity and heat. Both are generated through the use of solar panels, which range in size from residential rooftops to 'solar farms' stretching over acres of rural land,this would be on te outskirts of the city

- solar pannels will never be 100% effiecient right now they can be upto 50%
- solar pannels that are 40-50% are much more costly so its likley we would use solarpannels at around 30%.
- they are relativley cheap in comparrison to efficientcy and soare a very viable option.

geothermal enegy despite not allways be possible is a good source of clean enegy and when harnessed correctly could a great asset.
GEOTHERMAL
Geothermal Electricity Generation. Geothermal energy is heat energy from the earth—Geo (earth) + thermal (heat). Geothermal resources are reservoirs of hot water that exist or are human made at varying temperatures and depths below the earth's surface.
Our Ideas
Pavegen is a new and exiting technology with major potential for large populated areas like city or megacity. they could be used in many places like under sports pitches (Rio) or on sites in city centres like highstreets.
