Strange fruit
Strange fruit à été tiré d'un poême d'Abel meeropol écrit en 1937 contre le lynchage subit par les Afro américains et va être chanté par la fantastique chanteuse de jazz et de blues Billie Holiday
D'ou vient l'inspiration ?
Abel Meeropol va être choqué de voir des photos du lynchage d'Abram Smith et de Thomas Shipp et va décider d'en parler en travers de son poême qu'il publiera avec le psedoyme "Lewis Allan"
La voix de la chanteuse est chaude et grave
