When planning for student success curriculum maps, pacing guides, and lesson plans all play a vital role. These components are all essential to student learning and each support student in its own way. These components work hand in hand to drive instruction in the classroom.

Curriculum maps are essentail when planning for insturction, they include concepts and skills what students need to know as well as provide opportunities for collaboration between educators when creating (GCU Academics, 2018).
