Clan Moccia
Start
moccia- giordano
History
The founder was Gennaro Moccia, killed in a Camorra attack in May 1976, probably by a group of hitmen in the pay of the Moccias' rivals, namely the Giugliano and Magliulo clans, at the time engaged in a feud with the Moccia who, later, exceeded both rival clans, thus grouping, in the following years, Afragola and the neighboring municipalities in their orbit. The void left by Gennaro Moccia was later filled by his wife, Anna Mazza, the first woman in Italy that was processed over mafia crimes.
History
After Gennaro's death, Gennaro's wife, Anna Mazza, later together with her son Antonio, took the reins of the clan and branched it out over a vast polarized area around the city of Afragola. He has recently been released after two years and a few months, but is now under house arrest in his home in the Parco Verde in Caivano where the boss Antonio Ciccarelli resides, now detained for the murder of the repentant Salvatore D'Ambrosio, murdered with a shot in the mouth.

LUIGI MOCCIA

Antonio Moccia, believed by investigators for six years to be the head of the criminal family that from Afragola, in the province of Naples, extended to Rome. The sentence comes after a 12-year trial; To the Judges of the First Criminal Chamber
Luigi Moccia is considered by the investigators to be the white-collar of the clan, the real mastermind of the criminal holding company, capable of transforming one of the most bloodthirsty gangs in the Neapolitan area into a mafia that grows in the apparent tranquility of respectable offices.
Money
Company shares, financial reports, movable and immovable property worth a total of about 6 million euros were confiscated, most of which had already been seized during the spring of 2022.
This map shows the area they used to control.
