WHAT IS 11 goal of the agenda 2030?

INTRODUCTION HERE

Sustainable Cities and Communites What's the eleventh goal of the Agenda 2030? It is to make our cities inclusive, safe, sustainable and resilient. We need to complete this goal because the world's population is increasing and many of us live in cities, so we must accomodate everyone and build safe, modern and sustainable cities. This goal aims to ensure access to safe and affordable housing, improve urban planning and transportation systems.

NEW DEHLI

INDIA

New dehli is the capital city of india and a part of the National Capitale Terriroty of Dehli. Dehli has a population of (about) 32 million people. It’s the second most popolus city in the world after TOKYO which has a population of almost 37 milion people. It’s important because it’s the biggest city and the most expensive city of india. 80% of the population there speaks hindi, while the remaining 20% speak dialets. English is the main language in the wealthy neighborhoods but almost the entire Indian population speaks There is a difference beetwen Dehli and New Dehli. Dehli is like a region and new dehli is one part of it. New dehli was founded by the muslim in 1193. During British rule, after a protest that occurred in Calcutta, New Dehli was choses as the capital of the BRITISH RAJ. New Dehli is the seat of the Indian government English fluently. Demographic density is really high 9300 ab/km2 when the medium demographic density in the world is of 54 ab/km2. That’s really impressive. The quality of the air in dehli is of 196 US AQI. That’s unhealty. But why is this air pollution so high? It’s because of the industry, vehicles used for agriculture and very frequent fires..

MONEY PLANT

THE ARECA PLANT

THE PLANT OF OXYGEN

The Areca Plant is a plant which removes CO2 and converts it into oxygen. We need to wipe their leaves every day and we have to grow them in vermi manure, which is sterile and we have to take them outdoors every three to four months.

Money plant preferably grows in hydroponics, it removes formaldehydes and other volotile chemicals.

LAW'S TOUNGE

Mother in law's Tongue, it convets CO2 into oxygen at night. This is the reason we also call it "the bedroom plant".

PIETRO GOBETTI SCHOOL

CALTAGIRONE-SICILY

In Caltagirone, in Sicily, there's the Piero Gobetti secondary school which produces all its own energy, thanks to solar panels and a geothermal plant.

CASSANO

PUGLIA-ITALY

In Cassano delle Murge, in Puglia, the Perotti-Ruffo school made the floor of the gym with recycled tyres.

GORIANOSICOLI SCHOOL

AQUILA-ITALY

After the earthquake in Abruzzo in 2009, the school in Goriano Sicoli was rebuilt using natural or recycled materials. The building is designed to be anti-seismic and in harmony with its surroundings.

HANNAN ARENDT SCHOOL

BOLZANO-ITALY

In Bolzano there's a secondary school named Hannah Arendt that has three floors underground. This school has zero volume impact on the surface. Natural lights come through a glass roof and they contribute to the building to stay warm. In this way we reduce its energy consumption. It was progetted by the architect Claudio Lucchin in 2012.

GREEN CITIES...

COPENAGHEN

DENMARK

Copenhagen is the capital city of Denmark and it's a perfect example of green city. Its goal is to be carbon neutral by 2025. This city is provided by electricity that comes from renewable sources, like wind power. The CopenHill is a Danish plant, which converts waste into energy and has a snowboard slope on its roof. Copenhagen is also famous for its many bike lanes: half of the residents cycle to school or work.

SAN FRANCISCO

CALIFORNIA-AMERICA

San Francisco is on the coast of California. It is situated along the shore of a large bay between the Pacific Ocean and the California Coastal Mountains. Sustainable City is a dedicated initiative to achieve the long-term sustainability of San Francisco's built and natural environment. It includes city-wide and neighborhood-scale efforts addressing classically environmental sustainability categories: climate protection, energy, water, waste and materials, air quality, ecology and resilience.

Vertical Forest

MILANO-ITALY

The Vertical Forest is a complex of two residential tower buildings designed by Boeri Studio and located in the Milan Business Center, on the edge of the Isola district. Programming is called Plant Screen. Overall, the facades of the Vertical Forest host 711 trees, 5,000 large shrubs and 15,000 perennial and drooping plants, which densify in height to cover an area equivalent to two hectares (20,000 m²) of forestation.
