White truffle from Alba
The Alba White Truffle has a globular shape that is often flattened and irregular, with a pale yellow or even ocher peridium. The gleba, crossed by numerous white veins, very branched, varies from milky in colour, to intense pink, to brownish. The dimensions are variable. It is harvested from late summer, throughout autumn, until the beginning of winter. It is an absolutely spontaneous mushroom: to date there are no cultivation techniques.

Mole Antonelliana
The National Cinema Museum is a museum located in Turin based in the symbolic monument of the city, the Mole Antonelliana. The Museum develops in a spiral upwards, on multiple exhibition levels, giving life to a presentation full of collections that traces the history of cinema from its origins to the present day.
Piedmontese agnolotti
Piedmontese agnolotti, or more simply agnolotti, are a traditional stuffed pasta specialty from Piedmont.According to popular legends, agnolotti take their name from the inventor of this recipe: a chef from Monferrato named Angiolino, known as Angelòt.
Gianduiotti di Torino
The gianduiotto is a prism-shaped chocolate with a rectangular base made with chocolate called gianduia which is produced in Turin. It is usually wrapped in gold or silver paper. It is obtained by mixing bitter cocoa and sugar with the famous Tonda Gentile hazelnut from Piedmont, renowned for its quality. It is included among the traditional Piedmontese agri-food products with the denomination of Giandujotto di Torino, and is a candidate for recognition of the protected geographical indication.
Turin
Turin lies in the centre of Piedmont and is an interesting holiday destination. In the city there are museums that visitors must see: ancient history enthusiasts should not miss the Egyptian Museum, the largest in the world after the one in Cairo. Cinema lovers must visit the National Film Museum housed inside the city’s most famous building and its symbol, the Mole Antonelliana. There is also a National Car Museum which documents the history of transport from the 16th century right up to the present.
Northwest Italy
The north-west of Italy is that part of the territory that includes the regions of Liguria, Lombardy, Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta. It borders to the west with France via the Western Alps, to the north with Switzerland via the Central Alps, to the east with the regions of Trentino-Alto Adige, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna belonging to north-eastern Italy and to the south with the Ligurian Sea. North-western Italy includes a large part of the Po Valley and is crossed by the Po river, the longest in Italy.
Mixed boiled
Mixed boiled meat is an excellent single dish typical of Piedmontese gastronomy, a variant of the simple boiled meat, which has also become part of the tradition of many other Italian regions. Making a good mixed boiled meat requires a certain amount of care, the right choice of cuts of meat, the right side dish, the right accompanying sauces and, obviously, a good wine to match.
