CLIMATE CHANGE IN ARUBA
Climate change in Aruba will continue to cause rising temperatures, increasing the severity of natural disasters, increasing flooding, and causing sea level rise
Venezuela is very close to Aruba, and has gone from 5 glaciers in 1991 to only one remaining today. The climate change is expected to contribute to the displacement crisis.
These problems span across the carribbean and really everywhere in the world will see sea level rising with increasing global warming
To help slow this, the government of Aruba is encouraging energy saving techniques. Hotels across the island have implemented energy-saving techniques, and islanders are trying to eat more produce and less meat, carpool, and preserve local flora
