Falling intonation is a type of intonation that is used to signal the end of a declarative sentence. In falling intonation, the pitch of the voice falls from a higher point to a lower point at the end of the sentence

Raising intonation is a type of intonation that is used to signal the end of a question or an exclamation. In raising intonation, the pitch of the voice rises at the end of the sentence.

Examples:Are you going to the party tonight? Did you finish your homework?
