OUR HEROINE...
Joan of Arc, also known as the Maid of Orleans, was a young peasant girl who is considered a heroine of France for her role during the final phase of the Hundred Years' War.
Reflexiona
YOUTH
She was a girl who many rejected because they thought she was crazy for claiming to see visions about God. In the end she was diagnosed with undifferentiated and paranoid schizophrenia.
BIRTH AND DEATH
She was born on January 6, 1412 in Domrémy, a small rural village in Lorraine, near the Meuse. In May 1430 she was captured by French soldiers allied to England, sold to the English and undeservedly condemned to the stake, in which she died calcined.
MILITARY LIFE
She fought against the English in the Hundred Years' War, the victories were added to her hand, until she was captured. If there is a Frenchwoman known throughout the world, it is Joan of Arc (c. 1412-1431), the heroine of the fight against the English.
LOVE LIFE
Gilles de Rais was much more than in love with Juana, but rather had an obsession with her. He loved her so much that he became a demon so he could see his beloved again.

MIRACLES?
Joan performed miracles for her king: she lifted the siege of Orleans and escorted him to his coronation in Reims. But when the miracles were over—when 'usual' politics resumed its course—it was hard to know what to do with it. Because under normal conditions, what was a woman doing on the battlefield?
