Women had no political rights in pre-revolutionary france: they were considered "passive" citizen, forced to rely on men to determinate what was the best for them. that changed dramatically in theory as there seemingly were great avances in feminism .Feminism emerged in paris as a part of a broad demand for social and political reform. these women demanded equality to men and then moved on to a demand for the end of male domination.

Also known as the declarations of rights of woman, was written on 14 september 1791 by french activist, femminist and playwright olympe de gouches in response to the declaration of man and citizen.

Madame Roland established herself as a leading figure within the political group the girondins, one of the more moderate revolutionary factions. She was known for her intelligence, astute political analyses and her tenacy, and was a good lobbyist and negotiator .
Olympe de Gouges
She was a apassionate avocade of human rights but soon when egalité was not excented to women, she wrote the "declaration des droits de la femme et de la citoyenne."she was killed in a guillotinne on 1793.
