OPTIONAL
Medical covers injuries to persons within your vehicle at the time of an accident, or covers you if you are in another vehicle during an accident. However, so does your standard medical insurance.
MEDICAL
Comprehensive insurance covers loss or damages to your car in incidences unrelated to an auto accident such as: debris, wildlife encounters, theft, or fire, etc, after you pay a deductible.
COMPREHENSIVE
Collision covers damages and repairs to your vehicle following an accident, but you must pay a deductible (usually $500 - $1,000) before insurance covers the rest of the cost.
COLLISION
The most basic coverage, and required by law in every state, liability covers repairs, medical costs, and related expenses when you cause an accident.
