OER-2.2.2. Types of trust
The aim of this Open Education Resource (OER) is to elucidate the various dimensions of trust within democratic societies. It categorizes trust into three types: epistemic trust, encompassing faith in authorities' competence and expertise; institutional trust, involving confidence in democratic institutions safeguarding individual interests; and interpersonal trust, which pertains to the faith placed in personal connections and close communities.
