TYPES OF FUTURE TENSES

Just like the past and present tenses, there is more than one future tense in English. These change depending on the function and what we want to say.

PRESENT SIMPLE

To talk about scheduled events, present or future: Your exam starts at 09.00. To refer to the future, behind some conjunctions: after, when, before, as soon as, until: He'll give it to you when you come next Saturday.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

To describe an action that is taking place right now: You are using the Internet. You are studying English grammar. To describe a trend or an action that is happening currently: Are you still working for the same company?

FUTURE SIMPLE/ FUTURE WITH WILL

The future with "will" is used to talk about decisions that are made while speaking:I need to get my medicine. I will go to the pharmacy tonight

BE GOING TO

"Going to" is mainly used to talk about our plans and intentions, or to make predictions based on current evidence. In everyday speech, "going to" is often shortened to "gonna," especially in American English, although it is never written that way I am going to swim next Saturday .

FUTURE PERFECT

The main function of the future perfect is to express completed actions, either at a specific point in time or before other actions begin. Thanks to this, it is also possible to visualize the possible consequences of said actionBy 2030, I will have finished paying for a house for my family

FUTURE CONTINUOUS

TThe future continuous is used to express that something will be happening at the same time as another action, both in the future. In this sense we can say that it behaves in a similar way to the past continuous, but to talk about what will happen in the future. Examples: Next week, I will be flying to Paris.
