Fehling's liquor
Corrosive and hazardous to the environment: skin irritation, eye damage, respiratory irritation
The Essentials
Material & Consumer
Reagents, Solutions & Tested Foods
- Knife
- Hemolysis tube
- Pipettes & Tips
- Cup
Protocole
Fehling's Liquor Carbohydrate Test
- Crush the candy into pieces and then put it in the hemolysis tube
Lab coat obligatory
- Add ultrapure water and homogenize
- add a few drops of Fehling's liquor
Nitrile gloves + goggles
- Place the hemolysis tube in the Mari bath
Products & Risks
product and risk disclosure
picric acid
it carries a chemical danger, it is highly toxic for humans and the environment and is flammable
3. The Essentials
Material & Consumer
Reagents, Solutions & Tested Foods
- Hemolysis tube
- Nitrile gloves + goggles
10. protocole
test of ions in certain solution with picric acid
- pour a few drops of picric acid into a test tube containing 1ml of solution
Lab coat obligatory Nitrile gloves goggles under the hood
- Homogenize and wait a few seconds
- Discard the used material in a special trash can, observe if there are any yellow needles.
