We learn the story of the ring, it has to be destroyed in the fires of Mordor. The Fellowship of the Ring is created but destroy after Boromir has been corrupted by the ring. Then Frodo and Sam go for the Mordor alone.
Frodo takes pity of Gollum and allows him to guide them to the Mordor. Meanwhile Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli save their companions Merry and Pippin. The towers of Saruman and Sauron are destroyed.
We learn how Gollum finds the ring. Aragorn distracts Sauron from Frodo so he can trow the ring in the fires of Mordor, it is done and Gollum follow the ring in the fires. Sauron is destroyed once for all.
