This work comprises a series of exercises designed to help students practice all four linguistic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. These activities are crafted within the Nearpod digital tool, allowing for collaborative and individual work. Within this platform, students can interact, enhance their memory, and engage in friendly competition. Throughout these exercises, students will have the opportunity to learn English, covering topics such as the climate crisis, food and cooking. Additionally, a brief reflection is included on how technology can be utilized to develop teaching materials. The reflection discusses the challenges encountered during the didactic material development process within the Nearpod platform.

How can technology be used to support materials development?
The integration of technology in the development of educational materials maximizes the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. By using technology, reliable and relevant sources of information can be accessed, enabling the creation of activities that align with the individual interests of students. This not only makes classes interactive but also ensures meaningful learning by adapting to students' preferences. Furthermore, technology facilitates creativity in material design, making them appealing and captivating. Collaboration among students is enhanced through interactive platforms, and constant interactivity maintains active participation. In summary, by leveraging technology, stimulating educational environments are created where students are consistently engaged, resulting in material development that not only instructs but also inspires and motivates.
What difficulties did you have during the process of designing the interactive online workshops?
During the process of designing and conducting online interactive workshops, we encountered various difficulties that impacted the smooth development of the activities. One of the main complications was the instability in internet connection and power supply issues, external factors beyond our control that directly affected the workshop execution. Additionally, we faced the challenge of familiarizing ourselves with an application we hadn't used before. This adaptation process consumed part of the scheduled time for the workshops, as it was necessary to understand the functionalities and peculiarities of the tool before being able to use it efficiently. Despite these difficulties, we approached each obstacle with resilience and a search for solutions. These experiences not only underscore the importance of having a reliable technological infrastructure but also emphasize the need for thorough preparation when employing new tools to ensure the effectiveness and success of online interactive workshops.
