Block Leader MUST-DO'S

A BL must make sure that access rights are limited to the staff of the block only!

You Must Have Training before receiving access

Chain of command access rights:

Live where you work; work where you live

ND's should not checkmark boxes, instead they should check a block by adding their name to the access rights list. But when he/she leaves, they should remove it. If your ND has not removed his/her name from the access rights box, please let them know to do so. If you see a name that doesn't belong there, remove it immediately and let us know!

If someone has purposefully been altering access rights in any block, security will be notified immediately and the employee will face the consequences of his/her offense, not to mention they'll immediately lose their job. ALL employees of the block should live in the block. Any that don't should be removed.

That means, you cannot add people to access who do not live in the block or have been formally trained as a BD for the block. Boxes should NOT be checkmarked either. To make sure your BD's aren't altering the access rights, forbid them from pushing that button and check on a daily basis to make sure if anything has been changed. Every once in a while, an ND will alter access rights to view details about a block.
