1. What is it NLP?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming as a communication model that focuses on identifying and using thought models that influence a person's behavior as a way to improve the quality and effectiveness of life.
1.2 What does it consist of?
NLP has its origins in the 70's. Hand in hand with the mathematician and psychologist Richard Bandler, as well as linguist John Grinder. It sonsists in combine the approaches of psychology, hypnosis, and linguistics to influence the language and communication of our thoughts and actions. The theory is based on five communication channels, whose acronym is VAKOT: Visual (view) Auditory (ear) Kinesthetic (touch) Olfactory (smell) Taste (taste)
2. Why would we use it?
Get to know yourself and others better, which allows you to develop greater self-esteem, confidence, and empathy
Improve communication and persuasion, both verbal and non-verbal, to express oneself clearly and effectively in different contexts and situations.
Resolve conflicts and problems, using analytical, creative and negotiation tools.
Enhance learning and memory, taking advantage of different learning styles and channels, and using review and memorization techniques.
Increase motivation and performance by setting clear and realistic goals, and designing strategies to achieve them.
3. Does it work for learning math?
Learning can be difficult but not impossible. There are several factors that influence the difficulty of this discipline, such as the capacity for abstraction, deductive reasoning, symbolic language, teaching organization, motivation and effort. Mathematics is a language that allows us to describe and understand the world around us, and also develop our mind and cognitive skills
3.1 How hard is it?
As a subject, mathematics requires a certain level of discipline and order to be bearable. We must then, if you are a student; you have to find a way to learn the concepts it presents, or if you're a teacher; the way you can convey those same concepts to others
For this rigid and abstract structure of concepts, we must find the best way to understand them. NLP helps us change the way we communicate different ideas. Using even more than one communication channel at a time

4. What should you do?
Identify each student's learning style, whether visual, auditory, or kinesthetic, and tailor teaching to their preferences
Use positive, clear and motivating language that stimulates confidence, curiosity and a taste for mathematics.
Encourage dialogue and reflection by asking questions that invite students to express and justify their ideas, to solve problems creatively, and to relate mathematics to real life
Incorporate playful, recreational, and emotional activities that make students have fun, relax, and feel comfortable with math.

- Improving communication helps to better convey an idea
- Knowledge must branch out so as not to maintain a single line of interaction
- Encourage participation without creating discomfort. Achieving this results in a change in the mood of the participants
- NLP is applicable as a lifestyle, it has the purpose of getting the best out of yourself
