THANKSGIVING DAY
WHAT IS IT?
The thanksgiving day is a very important holiday celebrated to give thanks for a good harvest a few years ago.
ORIGINS
It all started when pilgrims were expelled from the united states. They traveled on the Mayflower and made their way to Massachusetts. When they arrived they had nothing and many died of hunger and cold. A colony that lived there helped them and in the fall of 1621 they made a good harvest and were celebrating for three days.
THANKSGIVING
Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday officially celebrated in the United States and Canada, it is a date on which family and friends generally gather at home to celebrate around a large banquet with the intention of expressing their gratitude for food, home and for the blessings that were received during the year.
