ACTIVITIES
1. Think about a healthy menu for one day and write down the name of the meal for lunch and for dinner. One dish per meal! 2. Write down the ingredients and recipe of each meal. Write the units of measurement in different ways (litres, cm3, grams, cups,...)
3. Search in different supermarkets for the price of the ingredients of each of your meals. Compare different sales (3x2, 50%…), write down the calculus and choose the best offer. Calculate the total price of each dish and its addition.
4. Consider that we are 100 diners and calculate the proportion of ingredients you will finally need. Calculate the proportional price too.Write down the new recipe.

5. Observe your ingredients’ labels and analyze the nutrients and the energy contributions out of 100. Now, calculate them according to your new recipe and calculate the nutrients and energy contributions per person. Indicate the result in percentage as well as in an irreducible fraction.
FINAL PRODUCT
- Create a poster with your menu and recipes. Include quantities and prices. Add the poster to the common Padlet.
- Read others presentations and reflect if you all together have created a healthy menu for the whole week.
- What would you change in order to make the week menu healthier? Post it on the TwinSpace forum.
