Did you know about Ecuadorian food? My favorite Ecuadorian dish is The ¨bolon de verde¨. This classic Ecuadorian breakfast consist of green plantains. Bolon is a slang term that mean large ball. The plantains are fried over medium heat until very tender, then mashed into dough, stuffed with cheese or pork, formed into round balls, and then fried again until crispy. In conclusion, my favorite Ecuadorian dish is The bolon de verde a traditional, easy and economical to prepare.
