Online book clubs for teens and preteens

What is the hypothesis?

After reading the article, "Online book clubs for teens and preteens," this is what I think the hypothesis is:

"Given adolescents' predisposition to technology, online book clubs may be a motivating factor for preteens and teens to sustain and encourage their voluntary reading of books and other printe and multimedia as they move through adolescence. "

Was the hypothesis tested thouroughly?

I don't feel like the hypothesis was thouroughly tested. There were interviews conducted with the preteen book club but it doesn't appear that there were interviews conducted with the teen book club. A study that shows the effects of an online book club over several years would show whether their hypothesis was correct or not.
