LEARNING EXPERIENCES
Ralph W. Tyler defined learning experiences as "the interaction between the learner and the external conditions in the environment to which he can react." He suggested teachers give attention to learning experiences: • that will "develop skill in thinking" • that will be "helpful in acquiring information" • that will be "helpful in developing social attitudes" • that will be "helpful in developing interests."
