the history of hollywood

the name Hollywood was born by Hobart Johnstone Whitley in 1886. In the 1920s Hollywood became the center of the US film industry. Post-war period Hollywood suffered a decline in fame and several productions were moved to New York or Europe. At the end of the sixties there was an iprovement and today Hollywood remains a dream for many actors.
