Activity#1: Role Playing
Instructions:
- The class will be grouped into four groups.
- Each group will have a scenario based on the audience, and they will have to role-play the scenario using the appropriate communicative style.
- The presentation should last for three minutes.
• Rubric:- Role-playing effectiveness - 25 pts- Appropriate communicative style usage - 20 pts- Empathy and emotional intelligence displayed - 15 pts

In the group of Pillars, give an example of a communicative style using a two-minute role play. The following are the assigned communicative styles to each group. Pray- Intimate Play- Consultative Serve- Casual Study- Frozen

Argumentation seeks to persuade others that certain ideas are true or false (conviction) and encourages them to act according to the truths presented and accepted (persuasion). Persuasion is an important part of argumentation because conviction alone is likely to leave a person cold and unmoved.

One whole sheet of paper/MS word, and to be submitted in GCR. 1) What technique/s is used in the advertisement?
2) How does the communicative style of the advertisement appeal to the target audience?
3) Can you suggest any improvements to the advertisement's communicative style?
4) Who do you think is the target audience for the advertisement? Justify your answer.
5) Identify one persuasive technique used in the advertisement and explain how it is effective.
