Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest castle in the world. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 40 monarchs.Windsor Castle is used regularly for Investitures and in July 2023, The King welcomed President Biden to Windsor for a brief visit.Windsor Castle includes a chapel called St. George’s Chapel, which is the burial place of Queen Elizabeth II and other members of the royal family.
Adelaide Cottage
Adelaide Cottage is now home to Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, plus the Cambridge family dog, Orla. It is just a 10 minute walk away from Windsor Castle itself.The three children now go to Lambrook, which is a private institution costing up to £6,999 per term. Adelaide Cottage is a four-bedroom home leaving no room for live in staff.
Clarence House
Clarence House has been home to King Charles III and Queen Camilla for almost 20 years. The pair moved in during 2003 and continue to call it home. Clarence House, which stands beside St James's Palace and is walking distance to Buckingham Palace.
Gatcombe Park
Gatcombe Park is the Gloucester residence of Princess Anne, Queen Elizabeth's only daughter, and her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence. The country house and farm were purchased by Queen Elizabeth in 1976 for Anne. Her daughter, Zara Tindall, moved her family to the estate in 2013.
Sandrigham House
This 19,000-acre estate is a private residence of the royal family near Norfolk, in the west of England. Queen Elizabeth inherited the property from her family in 1952. The Royal Family usually celebrates Christmas at Sandringham House and attends religious services at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, which is located on the grounds.

Balmoral Castle
Located in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, Balmoral Castle served as Queen Elizabeth's summer home and sits on 50,000 acres with 150 buildings.It is also where she died on September 8, 2022.At Balmoral, the royals act as normal people. The Queen spent her summer holiday there with her family, ridnig horses and having barbecues.King Charles continue the tradition by staying at Balmoral in Agust last year.
Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace has an impressive 775 rooms, including 19 State rooms, 52 royal and guest bedrooms, 188 staff bedrooms, 92 offices, and 78 bathrooms. It also has a Post Office, cinema, swimming pool, doctor's surgery, and jeweller's workshop. The Palace garden is the largest private garden in London, which includes a tennis court, lake, and helicopter pad. Buckingham Palace is the official London residence and offices of the British monarch: this is where King Charles and Queen Camilla hold official events and welcome important visitors.
