This tube carries urine from the bladder to outside the body .

RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

PULMONARY CIRCULATION

Blood flows from the heart to the lungs and back again

• Blood carrying CO2 enters the heart from the Venae Cavae.
• Blood leaves the heart through the pulmonary artery..
• Blood flows through the pulmonary arteries and reaches the blood.
• Gas exchange occurs in the lungs, in the alveoli. CO2 leaves the blood and O2 enters the blood.
• The blood carrying oxygen enters the heart from the pulmonary veins.

LIVER

The liver filters the body´s blood. It takes harmful substances (toxins) out of our blood.

URETERS

Two tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder.

PLATELETS STOP BLEEDING

WHITE BLOOD CELLS PROTECT THE BODY AGAINST INFECTIONS. THEY ARE CALLED LEUKOCYTES.

KIDNEYS

ORGANS IN THE URINARY SYSTEM RESPONSIBLE FOR FILTERING THE BLOOD AND FORMING URINE

BLADDER

MUSCULAR ORGAN THAT STORES THE URINE.

PLASMA IS THE LIQUID PART OF THE BLOOD, IT IS MOSTLY WATER. TRANSPORTS NUTRIENTS AND GASES.

SYSTEMIC CIRCULATION

THE BLOOD, CARRYING OXYGEN AND COLLECTING C02 AND OTHER WASTE SUBSTANCES FLOWS FROM THE HEART TO THE BODY EXCEPT THE LUNGS

• Blood carrying oxygen leaves the heart through the aorta.
• The aorta branches into thinner arteries that reaches the capillaries throughout the body.
• On the one hand, oxygen and nutrients pass from the blood into the cells, on the other hand blood also collects carbon dioxide and other waste substances.
• The blood from the capillaries transport carbon dioxide and enters ther heart through the venae cavae.

RESPIRATORY SYSTEM

SKIN

THE SKIN CONTAINS SWEAT GLANDS, WHICH PRODUCE SWEAT.

SWEAT CONTAINS WASTE SUBSTANCES THAT WE ELIMINATE WHEN WE SWEAT.
