Opt-in: This is the action taken by the Customer that provides consent to communicate via SMS. For example, entering their phone number to receive texts from your organization and accepting your communication Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Opt-out: This action allows a Customer to remove themselves from future texts from your organization. For example, a Customer texting back STOP to a number would be an opt-out from receiving SMS communications.

Opt-in: This is the action taken by the Customer that provides consent to communicate via SMS. For example, entering their phone number to receive texts from your organization and accepting your communication Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Express Written Consent: This is the permission granted by a consumer (Customer) to opt-in to communications from your organization. For example, a checkbox to sign up for SMS or by replying "Y" to provide consent to review SMS communications.
Opt-out: This action allows a Customer to remove themselves from future texts from your organization. For example, a Customer texting back STOP to a number would be an opt-out from receiving SMS communications.
