There are two “hidden tracks” that follow the rest of the songs on the album, but they are every bit as amazing as the first 14 tracks.

THE HIDDEN TRACKS

Can't Take My Eyes Off of You (I Love You Baby)

Originally recorded by Frankie Valli, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You (I Love You Baby)” is singer and rapper Lauryn Hill’s twist on the 1967 tune, modifying the classic arrangement to incorporate beatboxing and increased harmonies to become a neo-soul masterpiece. In all fairness, I’m probably very biased, but I enjoy Hill’s rendition more than the original because of the adjusted flow and inflections in certain words.

Tell Him

The last song of the album, "Tell Him" is a song that explores the complexities and vulnerabilities of being in love. In the song, the lyrics "Tell him" is repeated over and over again while muse-like singers harmonize in the background, urging Hill to express her feelings with a soft, lilting voice. "Tell Him" utilizes a steady beat and gently strummed guitars to symbolize Hill's uncertain steps toward being vulnerable in her relationships.
