What is padel ?
Padel is a sport that combines elements of tennis and squash, and is played on an enclosed court with walls, usually made of glass. The scoring is the same as tennis with a ball of the same shape and size. They use a smaller racket than tennis racquets. These racquets are designed to allow for greater control and accuracy of strokes. The game is played in pairs, and the objective is to score a point against the opposing team.
Heart rate and precision test
A test has been designed to measure heart rate and stroke accuracy. The test consists of 30Seg of high intensity where 4 balls are thrown in different positions. The complete test for each player is 8 sets, with 20 seconds rest between sets, the player does the 8 repetitions in a row. To evaluate the accuracy of each stroke, two targets were placed with different scores: 3 points (3x3m.), 2 points (4x4m.), 1 point (5x4m.). During the application of the test, the heart rate was recorded and stored by pulsometer.
Heart rate and precision test
The objective of the test is to know the accuracy based on the heart rate. This test should be repeated after one or two months to see the improvement in accuracy and endurance.
Agility test 5-10-5
This is a test used to assess agility and change of direction ability. The test involves the subject running 5 yards to one side, then 10 yards in the opposite direction, and finally 5 yards back to the starting point. The athlete must perform these changes of direction as quickly as possible, and the time is accurately timed to assess the individual's speed and agility. Technique and speed in the changes of direction are key aspects of performing well in this test. In addition to speed, acceleration and deceleration ability, as well as coordination and balance, are important skills assessed by this test.

Illinois Agility Test
In a sport like paddle tennis, changes of direction, turns and short sprints are very constant. This test is designed to measure our agility and coordination. It is a test where we perform a circuit and measure the time it takes. This type of test is important in this sport since the greater the agility of movement, the better the reaction capacity we will have.
This test is designed for medium and low levels, to improve and see the improvement over time.

Course-Navette test
Its main purpose is to measure the maximum aerobic power of the subject. In this way we see the minimum power to reach the VO2max. This test is a very popular test in schools but in its application in professional sports is very useful to see the seasonal progression, as you can perform the test at different stages of the year. The test consists of running 20 meters from cone to cone, with the sound Beep. The sound goes faster and faster.
Illinois Agility Test
1. The test begins at the starting line on the floor.2. At the starting signal, the subject starts.3. Rises and starts the circuit as fast as possible.4. The test ends and the stopwatch is stopped when crossing the finish line.
course-navette test
For this test we will use VO2max meters such as smart watches that measure it automatically. The value will appear on the smart watch, which reflects the physical capacity we have and we can see our condition on the graph if it is good or bad.
