Genre Theory

Genre Theory is an analysis created by Steve Neale about how we define a genre and how we would categorise it based on it's codes and conventions. When we categorise a movie into it's genre, it's often judged on the characters, setting, plot and in some cases, the technical aspects like camera shots, cinematography and editing style.
