Our dish and its culture comes from the country mexico, which can be found in the south-west of north america.

Some staple foods include:corn(maize), beans, tomatoes, etc.
When eating in Mexico you must not start until the hoast says " Buen provecho!" You also can not switch your fork and knife around. The fork must stay on the left of the plate and the knife must stay to the right. When your done eating, lay them parallel to each other on the right hand side.
Very pouplar spies that are used are: Coriander, allspice, cloves, cumin, etc.

ONE main tool that they use is called a Molcajete.. its just a stone bowl and mallet that can grind and crush diffrent spices.

At this time we are going to hand out a drink called Agua de Jamaica. This mexican drink is an iced tea made from a hibiscus flower. it's regulary served with rum.

Making Enchiladas
In order to make Enchiladas you first have to fry your beef with onion & garlic. then add sauce, corn, and black beans. After you fill and roll your tortilla. top with cheese and bake!
- They turned out really well and 100% would make them again
- Only thing we would change is the size of the tortilla's.
What occasion does our dish be servied?
There realy is not a special occasion that they are served on other then Enchilada day which is May 5th.
Is it in Ontario?
- Yes it is! One place we found is called Playa Cabana. It is located in Toronto,ON at 111 Dupont St.
