Email Address

Here is where you will put the address of the person you are emailing. All email addresses have three parts.

CC Address (Optional)

Here is where you can add additional people you would like to see the email but who the email is not addressed to. For example, if you are sending an email to a teacher and your caretaker wants to see it, you can put your caretaker's email address in the CC box.

Subject Line

Here is where you put the subject of your email. This should be 5 words at most! Keep it short!

Greeting

Begin by greeting the person you are emailing by their name. Use the formula below for the greeting.

Message

Here is where you will type the message of your email. Be sure to use a polite tone and to write in complete sentences. Double check your spelling and grammar!

Closing and Your Name

Chosing a closing word (followed by a comma) and then put your name on the next line.
Example closing words: Thanks, Sincerely, Respectfully,
