This is a leadership position. You will oversee the Elevation Unbound poetry podcast site and work side-by-side with Dr. Bucher as we transfer content directly onto the Google site (which only you will have access to). You will work with Bucher to identify organization mission and vision, potential problems & solutions, and final polished website! Successful completion of your tasks will result in a glowing letter of recommendation from Ms. Bucher when you need it, i.e., job, college or university admissions, etc.

Job Description

This is an arts-based position. You will be asked to create 1+ pieces of physical or digital art that complements the tone and mood of the Elevation Unbound podcast site! After reading through our poet's work, you will create your unique artistic specialty, i.e., a painting, sculpture, digital art piece, photography, collaging, etc. that breathes tone & mood into our organizational site through application of intentional color choices, symbolism, and so forth. Successful completion of your tasks will result in a glowing letter of recommendation from Ms. Bucher when you need it, i.e., job, college or university admissions, etc.

Possesses adaptability and is able to construct a piece that meets the needs of the organization. Tone and mood of work match and/or compliment written poetry.

Job Description

This is a professional writing position. You will be asked to either create or revise and share 1+ pieces of your own poetry for the Elevation Unbound podcast site! Poets will record their spoken poetry for the site and possibly be interviewed about their writing process by a member of our interview team! This interview would take place either during brick day or virtual class if you are willing to participate. Successful completion of your tasks will result in a glowing letter of recommendation from Ms. Bucher when you need it, i.e., job, college or university admissions, etc.

Verbal Communication

Maintains the ability to clearly and dynamically read written poetry. Includes emphasis, pause, etc. in the appropriate places to generate audience intrigue.

Freelance writer maintains astute attention to detail; meticulous in written iteration/the complete writing process; poet thoroughly polishes their work prior to public listening.

You will work closely with the executive director to polish and produce our Elevation Unbound class site. You will edit through a discussion board after artists, writers, and interviewers post their content. Successful completion of your tasks will result in a glowing letter of recommendation from Ms. Bucher when you need it, i.e., job, college or university admissions, etc.

Job Description

The interviewers are essentially the "hosts" of our podcast site! Their voices, perspectives, and questions will engage our audience followers. Interviewers will be in charge of generating dynamic and engaging interview questions for poets about themselves, their process, and their poetry in general. Interviewers will conduct and record interviews live during virtual class and/or brick day! Successful completion of your tasks will result in a glowing letter of recommendation from Ms. Bucher when you need it, i.e., job, college or university admissions, etc.

Facilitates interview with passion and excitement while generating a high level of interest from the audience. Voice intonation is dynamic and engaging.

Creates and conducts interview in a way that honors the poet; generates kind and compassionate interview sensitive to poet's individual essence.
