Introduction

The following interactive workshop is a valuable tool that can be used in classrooms to improve teaching efficiency. To prepare the material, "Food and cooking" was chosen as the topic. The exercises put into practice aspects such as language in use, listening, reading, writing and speaking. These exercises, to be more dynamic, take various elements from the web such as videos and articles on the selected topic.

What difficulties did you have during the process of designing the interactive online workshops?

How can technology be used to support materials development?

• The difficulty is really due to the lack of knowledge that all these virtual tools exist. In particular, I was unaware of the existence of NEARPOD and that is why it was difficult for me to use the platform, but once I became familiar with the tools it offers, the development of the material was relatively simple. I find doing educational activities with NEARPOD easy and I could use it in the future.

• Technology with its advances allows the creation of dynamic and didactic materials never seen before. I believe that technology should not only be a support in the development of materials but should be gradually integrated as a valuable and essential tool in teaching. Materials whose support is technological undoubtedly attract the attention of students.
