What is flamenco?

It is a group of musical forms that mainly appeared in Andalucía, Murcia and Extremadura, which were passed on orally and whose basic elements are el baile, el cante and el toque.

This Granadinian version of flamenco is part of the ritual music of the gipsies of Sacromonte and it integrates three main dances: la alboreá, la cachucha and la mosca. Each of them symbolizes a different moment on gipsy weddings.
