Information :

Most earthquake-related injuries and deaths are caused by falling or flying objects (such as TVs, lamps, glass, or bookcases), or by being knocked to the ground.

They can be of different scales but the higher the scale of an earthquake, the more damage it will cause.

Earthquakes are violent movements of the earth that can cause material damage and physical harm.

Why is it important to be safe in earthquakes?

https://www.cdc.gov/disasters/earthquakes/during.

Information:

Stay away from windows, glass, mirrors, exterior doors or walls and anything that could fall on you such as lamps and furniture. If there is no table or desk near you, cover your face and head with your arms and crouch away from windows and shelves.

If you can, seek shelter under a sturdy table or desk. Stay away from outer walls, windows, fireplaces, and hanging objects. If you are unable to move from a bed or chair, protect yourself from falling objects by covering up with blankets and pillows.

How can we be safe in earthquakes?
