Napoleonic reform consolidate the changes of the revolutionary period: Government: Set up a constitutional monarchy and French citizens chose the representatives of the National Assembly by male universal suffrage. Religion: Napoleon guaranteed religious freedom. Law: Napoleonic code unified the legal system and incorporated the main ideas of declaration of man and citizens.
Battle of Waterloo
After 100 days in power Napoleon was defeated at Waterloo.
Napoleon died
After the battle in Watrloo, he was deported to the island of Saint Helena, where he died in 1821.
