Further education (FE) is a form of post-secondary school learning that isn't part of higher education. Students get further education from institutions like FE, specialist and sixth form colleges

  • Courses on offer at further education colleges range from basic English and maths programmes, to GCSEs and A-levels, to Higher National Diplomas, and BTECs.

In primary education, ten compulsory subjects are studied, wich are:

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Design and Technology
  • History
  • Geography
  • Art
  • Music
  • Physical Education (PE)
  • Foreign languages

Higher education it is offered by universities and provides both research-oriented and higher professional education. They incluides diplomas, bachelor degrees and more, you can taken after 18 years old. The students can apply after completing their two years at sixth form or college.

School days involve a lot of time. School start like 8am or 9:20am and finish between 2:15pm and 4:25pm. Lengths of the school day range from 6 hours to 7 hours and 40 minutes including breaks.

The class sizes in the UK vary depending on the educational stage and type of school. In general, the classes in primary education are smaller than those ein high schools. In private school the average class size tends to be more smaller than public school
