Graffiti Initially, what drew me in was the line between vandalism and art. But as I delved deeper, I found a connection with how it serves as a unique identifier for the artist, particularly through the distinctive tags. These tags, strategically placed in various spots, seem to serve as a personal signature, allowing the artist to claim their presence without revealing their identity. There's an intriguing sense of community in recognizing these tags, knowing the artist behind them, yet preserving their anonymity. It's the perfect blend of personal expression and the mystery.
Music has this wild power to totally switch up what you're into. It's like entering a whole new world where a genre becomes your entire vibe. When I was all about rock, it wasn't just the tunes—it was a whole lifestyle. I was channeling Freddie Mercury with the leather pants and boots, going full-on rockstar with my look. Music isn't just sounds; it's a whole package that gets into your style, your attitude—everything!

Through my summer internship at Felt, I got hands-on experience in the art of jewelry making. While I made some content for their socialst, it was the craft itself that truly captivated me. It rekindled my love for getting hands-on and crafty. There's something magical about understanding the process—working through those trials and errors until you craft the perfect piece. This experience reignited my passion, leading me to specialize in the intricate art of jewelry making.
BACK
I love working on photoshoot projects—storytelling, styling, and even modeling. Being part of various collaborations, from stores to AMFI projects, has given me a real inside look into the world of styling and storytelling. In the future, I aim to work in campaign creation, particularly in styling. These experiences have boosted my confidence in sharing my ideas and opinions, and I'm excited to keep exploring this creative space.
BACK
Fashion, for me, isn't just about clothes; it's the entire world that comes with it. Working in various stores has been eye-opening, highlighting the significance of the environment. Interestingly, interior design was my second choice of study, and somehow, it seamlessly intertwined with my life. At Felt and presently at AVC, we've been on a journey, constantly experimenting with our workspace. We've transformed it into a vibrant and creative "playground" not just for us but also for our customers, aligning the atmosphere with the essence of our work.

I've been drawn to the idea of becoming a personal stylist because of the personal nature of helping people define their style. II think of it as a privilege to enter someone's life and assist them in expressing themselves through fashion. My inspiration for pursuing this began with my sister, Juliette. We have very different styles, and she often struggled to communicate her preferences in her wardrobe. This is where I stepped in, I initiated a project where I crafted mood boards, pinboards, and mind maps to dive into her desired style. Witnessing her confidence with just a bit of guidance truly inspired me. She knew what she liked but wasn't certain how to put it together in her outfits. This experience taught me the power of observation and understanding; it's not about imposing my taste but about acting on my skills to enhance her aesthetic. The key lesson was recognizing that every individual has a unique style, and it's about honoring their preferences while adding a touch of expertise to refine their look. Helping my sister find her style has shown me satisfaction in guiding others to feel comfortable and confident in their clothing choices.

Chiara Cares
Chiara Cares
I met Chiara Cares during my shift, I saw her style, and out of curiosity, I asked her what she does for a living and discovered she was a personal stylist. She emphasized a crucial aspect of the job: the ability to distinguish your personal style from your clients. She also said that the main key is "observation" of the specific details that the client seeks. For instance, she recounted a time when a client requested a professional yet edgy look for a corporate event. While Chiara typically favored a more classic and elegant style, she observed her client's preferences. By delving into the client's love for structured pieces and bold accessories, she crafted a unique ensemble that perfectly balanced professionalism with an edgy twist. Chiara emphasizes the importance of understanding the client's desires, sometimes setting aside personal inclinations to curate a style that resonates with the individual's preferences. It's this attention to detail and the capacity to discern diverse tastes that she highlighted as the structure of successful personal styling.
After some research on who she is, I found that she is the owner of her company :
Where consist in over several days together, they will shop in your closet, discovering the clothes that bring you joy. they are also sustainable since they will take you on a sustainable shopping day, she shares all her favorite spots, from small ateliers to fashion locales. they unify your wardrobe, merging new gems with your existing garments. they demonstrate how to create personalized outfits, even with accessories. Every outfit will be captured in a book, providing a visual memory of all your wardrobe pieces. they show you how to create your own clothing haven at home, allowing you to indulge in it every day with great pleasure!
Feeling inspired after our talk, I'm eager to launch my own agency. I want to help people find their true style while potentially integrating my own brand. It's about guiding individuals to discover their authentic style and offering personalized clothing solutions that reflect their unique personalities. It's a fusion of styling, sewing, and individual expression that I'm excited to explore.

Editorial stylist
Becoming an editorial stylist, like I have mentioned before I have participated in various photoshoots where I have had the privilege to be the director in some type of way. I love being in charge of the whole setup by making mood boards, shaping narratives, and leading the styling. My fascination lies in the power of storytelling through visual imagery. Crafting compelling narratives through the art of styling, I relish the opportunity to blend fashion, themes, and concepts into captivating editorial spreads. The prospect of working within a magazine excites me as it presents an ideal platform to showcase my ability to conceptualize, create, and bring forth unique visual stories that resonate with diverse audiences.
I would also like to mention "2154" which is my path goal for now, 2154 is a store with my roommates and me, where we curate and resell vintage clothing, but our aspirations reach beyond that. The future envisions the development of our own brand. Is not just selling clothes but encapsulating a lifestyle—a narrative woven through marketing, including videos and photo shoots. you can see that our product is not only the clothes but also what a creative life should be, it consists of making events having our own magazine and making shorts basically a creative playground but where the main focus is the clothes. This approach aims to showcase that our products are more than mere garments; they embody a vision of a vibrant, creative life. This vision aligns seamlessly with my pursuit of becoming an editorial stylist. crafting narratives that transcend mere clothing, capturing the essence of a vibrant, creative existence. The ultimate goal is to merge these aspirations, using editorial styling as a tool to not just showcase clothes but to immerse audiences in a world where fashion is a part of a larger, enriching narrative. This synergy between '2154' and my editorial styling ambitions reflects a unified vision of creating not just fashion statements but compelling stories that resonate with audiences.

NADIA LEE COHEN
NADIA LEE COHEN
Nadia Lee Cohen is a British artist, photographer, filmmaker, and model known for her surreal and character-driven visual storytelling. Born in 1992, she garnered recognition for her cinematic and commercial work, collaborating with artists like Tyler the Creator and contributing to campaigns for major fashion brands. Her work delves into themes of Americana, the 1950s and 60s, and a distinctly stylized portrayal of the female form. The consistency in her style, always recognizable as distinctly hers, is a testament to her artistry and vision. This unique and consistent approach is something I find admirable since it shows her identity. Nadia Lee Cohen serves as an inspiration for me as she connects various creative elements (filmmaking, storytelling, and fashion) into a singular, cohesive vision. Her ability to collide these diverse areas into a unified expression is what i admire. She has left an indelible mark through her contributions to esteemed publications like Interview Magazine and various high-profile campaigns.
What truly resonates with me is her capability to harmonize these multifaceted roles, just as I aspire to do with my own venture, 2154. I aim to blend these creative dimensions together, much like Nadia Lee Cohen, creating a space where fashion, storytelling, and a broader artistic vision converge. Her career path shows the fusion of these creative facets, an achievement I admire and hope to do within my own journey.

INDENPENDENT MAGAZINE
WHY WOULD I CHOOSE THIS PROGRAM? The program of independent magazines resonates with my personal goal for editorial styling. Here, I anticipate gaining the expertise to conceptualize brand ideas and craft innovative content that seamlessly blends the realms of writing and visualization. What particularly appeals to me is the program's commitment to realism, ensuring that the skills acquired are not just theoretical but are directly applicable to real-world scenarios. This practical approach aligns perfectly with my aspirations, allowing me to translate creative concepts into tangible and impactful editorial narratives.
HYPERCRAFT
WHY WOULD I CHOOSE THIS PROGRAM? I'm inclined towards choosing Hypercraft for several reasons. Beyond its relevance to the fashion industry, I believe it offers knowledge and skills that extend far beyond this field. Acquiring these skills is crucial in today's world and will undoubtedly remain indispensable in the future. What particularly fascinates me is the realistic simulation capability of Clo3D. It's a game-changer, not just for pattern-making but also from a sustainability perspective. The ability to create and visualize designs digitally, minimizing paper wastage, aligns perfectly with the sustainable ethos I value. Additionally, these digital skills are versatile, proving useful not only in fashion but also in digital campaigns and various other creative endeavors.

What is fashion to me? I want to start with this question to define what fashion means in my world. While it unquestionably serves as a means of self-expression, in my eyes is also art. It's not confined to editorials and stores; it extends to the entire creative process, from concept to a finished masterpiece. It's about the narrative, the inspiration, the journey with its imperfections and improvements, creating a beautiful result. Fashion Design, for me, is not just about creating clothing; it's about crafting a story. I am a fashion design student at Amfi, where in my second year I’m understanding the techniques that transform an idea into a tangible garment. Where I’m learning the rules of a basic garment to master how to break them to innovate within this field. Creativity is at the core of my being. It was at Amfi that I truly witnessed my growth as a creative professional. I went out of my comfort zone, engaging in outside activities to understand the inner workings of the industry. Collaborating with older students and getting involved my skills to their projects has given me valuable real-world experience. Always have that feeling of gaining enough experience till I make something on my own; My own project called 2154, a vintage shop with a sustainability focus, drawing inspiration from my first-year studies in AMFI. However, my ultimate goal is to establish my own clothing brand in 2154, showcasing not just clothing but a community of creatives and a lifestyle. This is why I believe that the audiovisual program at ESDi would be an ideal fit for me. Beyond fashion, I am deeply interested in storytelling through garments. The audiovisual program's expertise in areas like digital sound, image treatment, 2D and 3D imagery, video editing and especially animation, and more would empower me to convey the meaning and purpose behind the garments I create. I draw inspiration from brands that cultivate a sense of community, such as Sumibu (local brand), AVC (my current workplace), Susmies, Patta, Nude Project, and Felt or the company Crownsandowls, which focus on making music videos that show a lot of visual production. They all sell an image of what a lifestyle should be, and I aim to take this concept further with 2154, using audiovisual tools to communicate the essence of the garments and their stories. My specific interest in animation aligns well with my focus on the digital realm, especially since I want to do Hyper Craft3D for my specialization. The synergy between audiovisual skills and my passion for filmmaking and music videos is a potential bridge to connect creative worlds within 2154, making it a true creative playground where garments become forms of art. In addition to my passion for fashion and creative pursuits, I see pursuing studies at ESDi in Barcelona as a unique opportunity to reconnect with my roots and culture in Spain. Although I used to live in Gran Canaria, I've never had the chance to explore the mainland. Barcelona's rich architectural and artistic heritage are aspects of the city that I'm eager to explore. In conclusion, I believe that pursuing audiovisual studies at ESDi apart from audiovisual is a crucial step toward achieving my vision for the future of fashion. I am excited about the possibilities this program offers and how it can enrich my creative journey.

INTERSHIP
INTERSHIP
I've recently become captivated by AVAVAV, not just for their clothing but for their avant-garde show concepts. It all started with their show where models purposefully fell, defying the conventional flawless runway experience. This deliberate disruption, a powerful statement, challenged the perfection often expected in fashion shows. Subsequent shows continued this unexpected narrative—pieces falling off models, showcasing the unpredictability and underlying anxiety in fashion design. Their most recent show, 'Half ready,' brilliantly depicted a rushed, stressed atmosphere, symbolizing the pressures in the industry. Beate Karlsson, the creative director, consistently surprises with each concept. AVAVAV's shows transcend mere clothing displays; they craft compelling stories and messages. Their ability to seamlessly merge the narrative with the garments is what truly captivates me. This innovative blend of fashion and storytelling is precisely why I aspire to intern with a brand like AVAVAV, where clothes aren't just garments but integral parts of a larger, thought-provoking narrative.

SEMESTER 2
1: Choice for my world:
CRAFT
After each introduction I found interest in both the craft and print.
At the moment I want to keep learning from a subject that doesnt give me any limitation, which for me craft and print could offer more experimentation on the material, meanwhile knit and denim felt too specific on the type of material I need.
Why did I end up choosing craft ?
Notes:- I would have to transform a tradional technique and develop from that to create an original. - I would have to perfect that technique before experimenting. - Then after all the progresive samples I would have created a piece of my own
I found it very interesting the fact that I would learn a tradional technique of my choice and then coverting it to mine, I personally think everything is a process and you get better by exploting the same thing and it ends up transforming into something completely different from the initial idea, so I was fascitinated with the idea into learning how to do the tradional technique and then modify it to my own technique from what I have learned.
Why didnt I choose print ?
Even though I was very much interested in learning print techniques, especially because I felt like I couldn't really get to my potential in Atelier, thinking about my plan for the future, I chose a collection, which also has worlds and one of them is print, so I have decided to leave print for the next year in collections.
REVIEW OLD DECISIONS:
REASONS
Why did I choose collection
My decision was visual culture like I have explained before, since Im really into storytelling and concept making, I want to be able to unite film with fashion, but it is understandable how me as a design student should focus on an area to explore more a designer field. At first I felt a bit lost about the decision I wanted to make, but after starting with studio, I realised that to be able to focus on design I should keep on focusing on the same field, I came to amfi with not that much experience with sewing, and this second year I have been trying to get to learn as much as possible, the only way its to keep on practising and just making, so after a meeting with Inge (first/only) we both decided that collection would suit me to keep on practising shapes, techniques, concept and dive into the worlds provided in collections.
Why collections:
Research:
Notes:
I took my time to ask him about what exactly do you do in collections and what did he end up choosing. He explained that in collections you also have a brand but its more like an inspiration, unlike studio. He also explained each world, which he chose print since it's the one I'm interested in, he explained the techniques used and also the mistakes he made during his process.
I have worked with several Amfi student as a model to get as much info as possible about these certain programs. One of them being studio: By Milo/ Anes Muslimovi'c
CONCLUSION:
After this chat and being able to participate in the show and seeing what each student created I felt very inspired to carry on with my choice of choosing collection to be able to keep on practising on my skills as a designer (concept making, sewing skills, techniques like print, etc)
1. What made u choose collection 2. what did u learn that u didn’t know before 3. why did you choose print and what was the technique that stood out to you the most? 4. how is the program divided and what is the final product/outcome 5. Do you think what you learn in this program would help you for graduation? 6. Did u like it? And would you recommend it ?
QUESTIONS
1. I chose collections because it was recommended by a lot of my friends that did the specialization. At the time I knew if I would not do collections, the jump from the workload in Studio (2nd year) to graduation would be quite big. I saw collections as a step in between where you make 3 looks, before you make 6 in graduation. 2. I learned certain sewing techniques and skills that I didn’t know before. I learned how to build a cohesive collection starting with an idea/concept, to sketches, to prototypes, final product, etc. A full 360 as a designer. 3. I chose print because I was always excited in graphics and pictures and how that translates into storytelling on your garments. Especially because our assigned Brand/designer was Vivienne Westwood. She was known for her use of prints as a tool for story telling. I worked a lot with screen printing but also with laser engraving in the makerslab. You have a lot more options then these two like digital print, flock print, uv print, solar print, bacteria dye, … 4. It’s divided into 2-3 phases basically. First comes research and concept, as well as experimentation on fabrics and prints. You also start designing and drafting. After a couple of weeks you start making your prototypes and adjust your designs before you deliver 3 looks for your final assessment. Additionally you’ll have to sketch 15 outfits and come up with a line plan (50 items that would be in your collection). 5. Like I already mentioned, for designer especially it makes a whole lotta sense and I would recommend every design student to try to get into collections. Otherwise you might get overwhelmed by the workload in graduation. 6. YES! It can be stressful if you don’t organize yourself well, but in the end if you want to become a designer this is might be the best chance for you to see what it would look like.
CONCLUSION:
After this chat and being able to participate in the show and seeing what each student created I felt very inspired to carry on with my choice of choosing collection to be able to keep on practising on my skills as a designer (concept making, sewing skills, techniques like print, etc)

- Hypercraft: In my summer internship at Felt (Jewellery brand), I met Betul also a Amfi student currently doing her graduation, in Felt she used her hypercraft skills to make 3d models of their jewellery, I took the advantage to ask her questions about the program and she explain the essential things.
Questions:
1. What made u choose hypercraft 2. what did u learn that is fashion related 3. what did u learn that it’s outside of the fashion field 4. how is the program divided and what is the final product/outcome 5. Did u like it? And would you recommend it ?
1. Since the fashion industry is becoming more digital, I found it clever to develop myself in this aspect. Besides the fact that I like 3d design I wanted to further develop myself in this, so I’m safe in the job market too. 2. On a digital note I really learned how to texture but also how to do digital shoots/styling, there are endless possibilities 3. this would definitely be blender stuff, since I created a whole environment. This made me want to create a game. 4. (idk if it changed now) When I did hypercraft, the program consisted of “hyperdreamspace” that helped with learning some basics and doing research/experimentation for your concept. After that you decide wether you want to do atelier or immersive. For atelier you make on of your 5/6 outfits physical as well. I chose immersive because I felt I could learn more digital stuff. I really had to create an environment animate texture, all of it 5. I definitely liked it, it can be a bit difficult on a daily basis since you’re behind a screen every day. Besides that I really liked that there are endless possibilities and not too hard to learn. I would definitely remmomend it, because it helped me understand what I want to do in the fashion industry as well.
I Wanted some more opinions and asked other students aswell like Linus Kunze, currently finishing his third year.
Questions:
1. What made u choose hypercraft 2. what did u learn that is fashion related 3. what did u learn that it’s outside of the fashion field 4. how is the program divided and what is the final product/outcome 5. Are you planning on applying this on your graduation and if so how or why? *New question* 6. Did u like it? And would you recommend it ?
1. working with Clo3d and improving digital patternmaking skills. Amfi is quite good in digital fashion in comparison to other Unis 2. I think the whole minor is fully fashion related haha especially in cybertailoring 3. blender and 3d modeling, generative AI 4. research to end product - have to finish one outfit in cybertailoring + 5 digital outfits textured and high quality render. Animation also possible 5. no, I’m not doing a digital collection but Clo and digital toiling/ pattern making will be very helpful. 6.yeah I like it cause you get to broaden your horizon in fashion and do something more niche that will be beneficial in cv and future.. however I’m quite sure that I don’t really want to further specialize in digital fashion cause I work rather with physical products. I do want to try to merge the two worlds more and make the production of garments more sustainable and efficient with digital tools
My opinion after the questions
Im really drawn into this program since it really works for another areas aswell, in hypercraft they teach you not only clo3d but also blender which you can also focus making an eviroment, background, object, avatar and clothes. I want to go into hypercraft since I want to learn how to use these techniques. Apart from being really drawn to learn this I also think is an essential skill to have a as fashion designer in the century to keep up with whats coming new in the industry.
back
- Visual culture: Still one of my choices since its the only other thing that really drives me, I have decided to dive deeper into why I would want do this and participated as the actress for a Amfi student, "The dollhouse " project. Which made me become more passionate about it, being able to see the whole process from scratch, but I did came to the conclusion that to help my career as a designer, Hypercraft should be my option number 1. visual culture will help me to combine both my love for fashion and film, for the future I know I want to be involve in campagings, films, photohoots, that why I think this could be perfect to explore this area and find a line between me as a designer and concept maker.
back
AVAVAV
What would i like to learn from them? Is still one of my top in the list, since it still surprises with each concept. AVAVAV's shows that clothes is more than just clothing and they know how to talk to this generation. Their stories and messages throught out the show poke fun at the problems of fashion industry which challanges the public and even their own clients and not afraid to express it. Their ability to seamlessly merge the narrative with the garments is what truly captivates me, which is precisely why I aspire to intern with a brand like AVAVAV, where clothes aren't just garments but integral parts of a larger, thought-provoking narrative. What would I like to be bring ? The more I keep on creating garments, the more fun I have with making clothes with a meaning and a story, even tho I do believe they have a strong potential in their act in their runway, im still missing some sensitivity in their clothes, when I analize their collection by each garment I see that they have in use very "trendy" garments, I would like to now join their creative process in making the clothes so the storyline and the presented clothes say all one true story.

Interships
-AVAVAV -OTTOLINGER -CONSTANCA ENTRUDO - FELT
I havent really found an internship yet that I truly want because my first choice was based on my old plan, now with my new plan Im not sure which route I want to take, I want to keep experimenting, with craft, print, and digital to know what decision I want to make when choosing an intership
These brand are brands that I feel like their essence matches with mine but they are all going in different routes. -AVAVAV: Would be more for the story telling part, concept making and trying to understand how to send a message through my garments. -Ottolinger: They play around a lot with unconvetional materials specially in their accesories as in bags, glasses. they use a lot of print techniques and they arent scared to play around with displacement and shapes, I would like to enhance my skill as a designer with them because they do a lot of experimentation - Constancia entrudo: Their new collection showcases a lot of print and craft which is the perfect combination for my plan I could enhance craft and print that I learned before and learn more techniques in a company. After I do collection I would understand the basics of print so I would already have an idea on how it works. -FELT: For felt would be more on the digital side, I would like to do it after hypercraft so i already have basic knowloadge, I already did a summer internship there but I didnt feel like i learn much because i didnt have much to give in that aspect and now with my new knowloadge and after doing hypercraft I feel like I could take advatage of what I would be learning and also stepping outside of my comfort zone doing Jewellery.

-Very clear and organized -showed a lot of process which maybe should be more selective -Didnt show final outcome -Showed expierence in fashion companies and explained what she learn and at she did
REVIEWING PORFOLIOS
-Very clear and organized aswell -Selective with what he wants to shows -It all follows the same aesthetic - It has a balence with text and images
REVIEWING PORFOLIOS
-It all follows the same aesthetic - Sometimes the pages look too similar and feel like you are looking at the page before - Shows exactly how to make the garment/ technical drawings/pics of the procces - Would like to see more texture and materials in the ilustrations - It is organized

PORTFOLIO
After looking at different portfolios, I knew that I wanted to make a website for mine. I think is the easiest to show a lot but still make it look organized. My style is very chaotic and messy, thats how I like it but I understand that for people to understand my work I need to have structure mess. For my portfolio I was inspire by cheap advertisiments, this way I could have things blinking, flying around, and rotaring in a organized way. I feel like I can still improve this and im still on the process on adding more projects but for now and what I have applied from the reviews im quite happy with the result. I ended up using cargo, which at first was very hard to learn but now I have basic knowloadge on how it works and cant wait to keep on developing my portfolio this way.

I was playing around to see what wallpaper to use, I wanted to have me so I could intruduce myself, but then noticed that the first pic made the text hard to read, so decided to go with the second picture as we see here.
I payed attention of the words i was choosing to describe my work, before I was describing the assignments like "we need to", "I was assign to", "I had to..." which makes it sound less professional since it looks like only school work. So I changed it to :" I created", "I made", "I did"
And for this bottom page, Im still in process of adding my work and projects outside of AMFI, like photoshoots that i have helped in, videos, interships etc

My first choice has changed
Why ?
The exchange was not possible since a audio visual is demand by a lot of people from branding, me not being branding makes it even harder to get into this program specially being in exchange. Now my first choice for the first semester is collections.
I have decided to neither pursue individual nor independent magazine since its what most feel out of place as me being a deisgn student
