THE COMPANY

BP DECOLLETAGE Ltd. (Ascoli Piceno), manifactures lathed small and micro metal parts by wire turning and thread cutting processes on-site, for important Italian and international markets.

  • It was founded by GUIDO PEZZA in 2003, thanks to his twenty years of knowledge on ESCOMATIC and his great passion and technical ability, the company quickly made itself known in the context of high precision mechanics with constant growth.
  • In 2014 the first factory was born, 1000 mq with 40 machines.
  • After exponential growth, in 2016, a second factory of 400 mq was opened with another 30 machines.
  • For these reasons, in 2019, it was necessary to move to a new and unique factory with a production surface area of ​​2500 mq and capable of hosting over 100 machines.
  • Today, thanks to the broad growth prospects, there is an expansion of approximately 6000 mq.

PRODUCTIVE PROCESS

For the production of turned parts, we use an extended quantity of machines:

-100 Escomatic cam machines; -11 CNC-controlled lathes; -8 flex speed lathes; -11 swiss-type 4/5/6 axes lathes; -1 transfer machine feeded by wire; -1 grinding machine; -1 rolling machine.

To optimize production times and produce large quantities of pieces.

GRINDING MACHINE

To obtain more stringent characteristics, BP DECOLLETAGE is equipped with centerless grinding machine. It allows us to produce parts characterized by a small diameter with great precision.

ROLLING MACHINE

Useful to: -roll; -knurl; -thread; -realize details according to customer needs; -increase our production.

PRODUCTION

The strong point of BP is represented by the large number of Escomatic machine. The technique used by them is the turning of wire into coils by removing chips. Unlike conventional lathes, Escomatic lathes are based on a single principle: the material stoke in form of coils/skeins has no rotational movement. These are tools supported by a rotating work head (spindle) that rotate around the material, generating chip removal.

PRODUCTION

Thanks to short cycle times, this technique has the advantage of increasing productivity, obtaining pieces with competitive prices.

They are cam machines of different types based on the type of process:

-D2= turning and knurling process;-D4= turning and holing process; -D6= turning, threading, tapping, milling, holing and knurling process.

QUALITY

Each production is tested in order to guarantee constant precision and quality.

Quality Control in production and Final Testing are guaranteed by:

  • standard measuring instruments such as micrometer, digital caliper and profile projector;
  • digital microscope, roughness meter, roundness meter and micro-durometer;
  • advanced optical measurement instruments Keyence, Mitutoyo, Sylvac and “O-Inspect” Zeiss.

100% SELECTION

To obtain more efficiency of the production processes we have created a 100% selection department with very high precision optical machines capable of identifying possible anomalies in each individual item and therefore offering a product consistent with the specifications indicated by the customer. The department includes 7 selection machines to be increased over 3 years according to our prototypes.
