Einstein established a wedding contract which includes rules for her wife such as: bringing 3 meals per day in his room, not disturbing him while he worked, do and order his loundry, not talking to him if he hasn't asked, do not expect any intimacy. They decide then to split with a proposition, when Einstein will get a Noble Price, the money will go to Mileva and his three children.
Special theory of relativity :It says that space and time are deeply connected. It is a theory that explains how speed affects, mass, space and time.
The publishing of 4 significant papers : - The first one deals with the question : "What is light ?" - The second one deals with the existence of atoms - Third paper with the equation E = Mc^2 - In the fourth one he introduced the "Special theory of relativity"
Born on march 4th 1879 in Ulm in Germany
Max Plank discovered the special theory of relativity
Max Plank = the greatest theorical physicist in Europe. The relativity paper was published on june 1905.Plank recognised the study of Einstein as an important paper of an important young man.
Maleva Mirage & Albert Einstein
She's a serious student of Swiss Polytechnique and she's the only woman in the class. Maleva and Albert shared the same passion of physic. Their married in 1903 and one year later their son was born, Hans Albert Einstein, they already have a son, Lieserl Einstein, born in 1902 and they will have a third son, Eduard Einstein in 1910.
Photoelectric effectIn what he calls his "miracle year", he published 4 papers. The first one deals with the question : "What is light ?" * Light comes as a particule called a photon * Upon collision, each proton can transfer its energy to electron * The more proton strike the surface of the metal, the more electrons are liberated and the higher is the current
The Earth is attracted to the sun, turn around the sun because the sun is bending space and that way it creates a hole where the Earth wants to fall.
Einstein present his "allgemeinen Relativitätstheory" at the Prussian Academy of Science, with a final equation that explains how space and time, tell matter and energy where to go.
It is a shock for those scientists because Einstein, destroyed some Newton's law.
Einstein draws a presentation of his General Theory of Relativity in the Prussian Academy, in front of all the best prussian scientists. In the audience, there is David Hilbert, a talented mathematician. Einstein struggles to resolve his equation and Hilbert tries to resolve it first.
Arthur Stanley Eddington is a British and is one of the most brilliant mind in the field of astronomy at that time. In February 1916 he learns about the General Theory of Relativity of Einstein, a German. He realises that this paper has an amazing potential and wants to learn more about it. Thanks to the pacifism of Einstein, Eddington has the chance to help that Germn guy even in a war time. He wants to prove Einstein's Theory with a solar eclipse.
In may 1919, Eddington photographs a solar eclipse on the Principe Island that confirms the General Theory of relativity of Einstein.
In 1921, Einstein receives a Nobel Prize for his theory about the Photoelectric effect. As established, the money from the Prize went to Mileva Maric.
In June 1919, Einstein decided to marry his cousin, Elsa Einstein, few months after the official divorce of Einstein and Mileva.
William Wallace Campbell is an american astronome. After the study of a first eclipse in 1919, proving that Einstein's theory was wrong but seing Eddington confirming the theory, he decided to give it another shot. He organised then an expedition in Australia to observe another solar eclipse. And on that third attempt, he discovered that Einstein was right.
