Ai technology is a threat to jobs in the workplace because it can lead to unemployment in a range of industries and an unsettling rise in skill as well as efficiency requirements as technology replaces simple, routine tasks that people used to perform. Making it harder for people to look for jobs.

It is expected that AI will be increasingly replace human workers in jobs that requires low skilled labor in coming years. For instance simple jobs like customer service, and simple data analysis are example of few tasks that are being replaced by artificial intelligence. The need for human workers in these sectors are reducing as such tasks are being more automated.

HOW IS AI LEADING TO JOB DISPLACEMENT?

1)More reliable and efficient than human workers. 2)Doesn't need pay, benefits, or breaks.THUS, more cost -effective. As It is more affordable, automation is more desired by companies than human labor. It is effecting negatively on employees even though AI increases productivity.

Why is there a sudden gap of skills in the industry?

Now we can see there is a sudden gap in skills in the industry because AI requires new technological skills that many job seekers don’t have. Various factors lead to this formation, for example, lack of qualified candidates, industry standards, and fast-moving trends. AI demands speed, expert coding, and automation, and people without these skills have to face unemployment which affects their lives. To counter these types of unemployment problems, people and job seekers should pursue good quality of education and good speed.

Artificial intelligence can be used to monitor workers by employers. This raises privacy concerns because of how closely they can monitor people. Besides these concerns, artificial intelligence has improved so much that it has the capability to replace people's jobs cause higher job displacement in society.
