The three highest in the UK are in Scotland because Scotland is the closest to the edge of the tectonic plate. The highest peaks are (the first 3): - Ben Nevis 1345 meters (Scotland)- Ben Macdui 1309 meters (Scotland)- Snowdon 1085 meters (Wales)

The lagest lakes are:- Northern Ireland: Lough Neagh (381.74 km2)- Scotland: Loch Lomond (71.12 km2)- England: Windermere (14.71 km2)- Wales: Lake Vyrnwy (8.24 km2)The deepest in the UK is the Loach Morar, with the maximum dept of 309 meters.

The longest river in the UK is the Severn (354 km). The other longest rivers are:- England: Thames (346 km)- Scotland: Tay (188 km)- Northern Ireland: Bann (122 km)- Wales: Tyne (103 km)
